SEALS29 will be held at KFC Halls and Rooms in Ryogoku, Tokyo. It is conveniently located at the Ryogoku area of Tokyo, which is one of the most visited tourist spots in Tokyo. It takes an hour from Narita International Airport and 40 minutes from Haneda International Airport.

How to get to Ryogoku
Tokyo has two international airports: Narita Airport (成田空港 NRT) and Haneda Airport (羽田空港 HND). There are many different ways to get to Ryogoku from the airports, but we recommend the following routes:

From Narita Airport to Ryogoku:

Route 1: Take a Keisei Skyliner to Nippori (日暮里) and then a JR Yamanote line to Ueno (上野). Then take a JR Chuo-Sobu line to Ryogoku. (60 minutes)

From Haneda Airport to Ryogoku:

Route 2: Take a Keikyu (京急) line to Asakusabashi (浅草橋) and then take a Chuo-Sobu line to Ryogoku Station. (40 minutes)

Accommodation
We recommend participants to stay in Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku or other nearby hotels. Riding trains, subways and trains in the morning can be stressful in Tokyo.

Those who choose not to stay at this hotel can find affordable accommodation (around USD50) around Ueno Station (上野), Okachimachi Station (御徒町), Akihabara Station (秋葉原) and Kishicho Station (錦糸町). These places are a few minutes train ride away from Ryogoku and are easily accessed from the airports. There are direct trains/buses from the airports to these places.

Ryogoku
Ryōgoku (両国) is a historic 'sumo' district in downtown Tokyo. The following sites, among others, are within a walking distance from the conference venue/hotel. You can visit them before and after the conference.
